Funding Latest funding news: In recognition of the work we are undertaking and the effects of Covid 19 we are fortunate to have received a grant from Foundation Scotland to support an extention of our work. This will enable us to open for a third day every week.
We are also very grateful to have received a grant from the Hugh Fraser Trust to assist us with making improvements to the Shop and Workshop heating system.
Strathspey Works - Grantown Remakery is fortunate to have received support funding from a range of Local and National Organisations. Nationally we have been supported by The National Lottery Community Fund and The Robertson Trust, the grants from both allowed us to begin and run the full Pilot Project. Locally we have been supported by Caring and Sharing, Inverness, The Rotary Club and The Masonic Lodge both in Grantown. We have also recieved support from a number of local individuals and businesses. The Remakery has also been lucky to receive many items of furniture for repair or refurbishment which has assisted us to achieve our aims of developing the young people's skills and knowledge and indeed prevented items going to landfill. The long term plan is for the Remakery to become a sustainable business however, for the first three years some support funding will be required. If you would feel able to financially support the work we are undertaking please call in and see us or send us an email from the Contact Page and we would be very happy to discuss this with you.
